The old saying goes "An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” For people like me, "A CS paper a day keeps the bugs at bay" sounds better. As a developer, I want to expose myself to new ideas constantly. That being said, there’s an overwhelming amount of resources out there making it intimidating to start.
So, I created the site cspaperdaily.com. It gives users computer science papers to read each day with the goal of creating a habit. -
Custom Animation Display

I created a custom animation display that allows me to play whatever animations I want whenever I want.
In this project, I designed a system that converts videos into RGB data while downscaling the resolution to 32x32. The animation data is then loaded via an API onto a Raspberry Pi that connects to an LED matrix board.
This project took just under a week and was a ton of fun. I break down exactly how I made it in my blog post. -
Color Catch

A satisfying game where you dash towards enemies to defeat them and collect their colors as particles. Each color corresponds to an added attribute to the enemies.
This game won the game competition hosted by Vanderbilt Programmers of Games. The competition was a one month game jam. The core part of this game has to do with color and specifically RGB which is a concept I love.
This was made in Unity. I used ChatGPT for the character spinning and dashing. Besides that, it was a lot of documentation. I used simmer.io to allow people to play the game online.
